Sweet Delights from Savannah Bee Company

I've always been fascinated with honey. As a kid I had the plastic honey bear bottle but outgrew that phase rather quickly and explored the magical and healing properties of this wonderful food. I even did a report on propolis for a high school class -- how geeky is that?

I recently tried a couple of amazing honey varieties from the Savannah Bee Company. They work with ecologically responsible beekeepers to maintain their high standards. Sourced from Southern Florida, the pure and raw Orange Blossom Honey is highly fragrant. The big citrus flavors practically explode on your tongue upon contact. I paired it with Cowgirl Creamery's new Wagon Wheel cheese and it's a magnificent match. You can also stir some into a Greek-style yogurt or drizzle on ice cream. I could eat gallons of this stuff!

The limited edition Winter White Honey can be labeled as a foodgasm experience. The texture is really creamy and thick, so you don't need a lot to taste that exquisitely rich flavor. This rare honey is harvested from the wildflower fields of the Idaho Rockies. It also contains a hint of cinnamon spice, so you can use it with hot cocoa, fresh scones, or pair it with a goat's milk Gouda. This rare and special varietal will be available on November 1.

The company also makes body care products. I tried the moisturizing Natural and Organic Lip Tint, which features beeswax, pecan oil, and propolis (nutritious anti-bacterial bee product). The Blackberry Shimmer gives off a very sheer berry color. This 100% natural tint also contains coconut, sweet almond, and sunflower seed oils, as well as rosewood essential oil and shea butter. You can't get any more lip love than that.

Oooh, honey to put on my lips and in my tea. You can't get better than that. The wine bottle-like containers are really pretty, too.

These are very delicious. I can't get over the Winter White. The thin bottles are very elegant but makes it tricky to get the honey out. You're better off with the shorter containers.

The bottles are so classic, as it presents simplicity and pureness of honey.
Organic beauty products are indeed highly recommended. Its 100% natural tint will surely make any lips healthier than ever.
