Hourglass Tinted Moisturizer & Eye Shadow Duo

Hourglass Cosmetics continues to amaze me with their luxurious makeup. The Visionaire Eye Shadow Duo combines two complementary shades of extremely silky color to create mega gorgeous peepers. You can mix these velvety eye shadows together or use each on its own. You can also use a wet brush for an intense eye liner. These are also highly pigmented.

The mini 360° swivel compact is really helpful. The mirror inside can be tilted at any angle so you don't have to crane your neck in weird positions. The brush applicator is also made of hair, which is always great. I detest those foam-tipped brushes! I tried the Dune duo (champagne and deep olive shimmer) and just love it. It creates a soft smoky eye without resorting to pitch black or dark brown shades. The formula also doesn't contain any sulfates, fragrance, and phthalates.

If you're in the market for a new tinted moisturizer, the Illusion Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 will deliver a more radiant and youthful complexion. It contains 3% INSTALIFT®, a peptide that lifts and tightens the skin within an hour of application while Hyaluronic Filing Spheres add intense hydration and minimize the appearance of fine lines. This feels like a rich creamy mousse and it goes on nicely. I think I'm somewhere between the Sand and Ivory shades. The Light Beige is a tad bit too dark on me. Great for dry and normal skin, this water resistant formula is also free of oil, fragrance and parabens.
