Prada Infusion d'Iris Eau de Toilette
Aimed at those who prefer really light fragrances, Prada just launched an Eau de Toilette version of their popular Infusion d'Iris. Much lighter than the original Eau de Parfum, this scent contains a powdery finish and attempts to re-create the olfactory 'memory' of the iris flower.
Compared to the Eau de Parfum, this latest EDT incarnation has more floral notes. Clean and fresh, it contains Iris, Neroli, Lily of the Valley (Muguet), Violet, Heliotrope, Cedar and Galbanium. Depending on the skin chemistry, I think certain guys can manage to carry this off, despite the floral-heavy base.
The vintage style flacon, ice-white stopper and pale green liquid remind me of an absinthe cocktail. The price point is also lower than the EDP ($65 for 1.7 oz.), so recessionistas everywhere can rejoice and snap up a bottle.
Available at Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, Macy's and Nordstrom.
