Clarins Extra-Firming Cream

A popular skincare product from Clarins, the Extra-Firming Cream has recently updated their plant-based formula. The newest star ingredient, kangaroo flower, contains firming and wrinkle-fighting properties to keep skin young and smooth. Other anti-aging ingredients include organic extracts of mitracarpus, leaf of life, shea, desert date and oat. Of course, it also includes their proprietary Anti-Pollution Complex, which consists of African ebony, furcellaria, Alpine sanicle and lampsana.

There are five different formulas to choose from: Day Cream ($87), Day Cream SPF 15 ($87), Day Cream for Dry Skin ($87), Night Cream ($93), and Night Cream for Dry Skin ($93).

As an added bonus, there's a Friends & Family 25% discount running through 2/25. Be sure to stock up on your Clarins favorites at www.clarinsusa.com.

Edible Beauty

Created by a naturopath and nutritionist, Australian skincare brand Edible Beauty stands out in the green beauty world. Made with wildcrafted, organic, and therapeutic botanicals, founder Anna Mitsios says her products are safe enough to eat. Plus, the packaging is so pretty and elegant.

The Snowflower Illuminating Face Oil ($54) absorbs instantly into the skin. If you haven't tried a face oil, yet, this is a good one to check out. The 100% organic formula is packed with snowflower seed, kakadu plum, emu apple seed, and banksia serrata oils to rejuvenate, soothe, and brighten the skin.

The Sleeping Beauty Purifying Mousse ($43) is an instant favorite. The light-as-air night cream contains Australian pink clay and zeolite to prevent breakouts while avocado, snowflower and acai oils nourish the dermis. The aloe-based mousse softens skin instantly, making this a pleasure to use. My face feels so baby soft after each application!

Clarins SOS Primers

Clarins is always a step ahead of the beauty game. This time they're back with the versatile SOS Primer line ($39), a collection of six primers to color correct common skin concerns. Lack of radiance, sallowness, dark spots, signs of fatigue, redness and imperfections can be banished within seconds.

Each shade features organic sea lily, white tea, lapsana and furcellaria extracts to hydrate and protect the complexion. You can either use it alone before applying foundation or mix with foundation. I liked using 00 Universal Light and 01 Rose to give a subtle radiance while 02 Peach and 03 Coral are great for concealing imperfections and dark spots. If you have redness issues 04 Green is the answer while 05 Lavender address sallow skin. You can even use multiple SOS Primers to correct various issues at any given time.

Available at www.clarinsusa.com and all Clarins counters.

Fueguia 1833 Luna Roja

Lately I've been reaching for the Fueguia 1833 Luna Roja to escape the dreariness of winter. The unisex woody fragrance contains fruity notes of plum and rose to balance the oakwood. The plum is what makes this perfume sing. It's the best pick-me-up on a wet, cold day.

If you haven't tried Fueguia 1833's artisan perfumes before, definitely check out their NYC boutique if you're in the area. The niche perfume company only uses biodegradable ingredients and plant-derived musk for its compositions, making it a sustainable yet luxurious option for discerning fragrance lovers.

Available in 15ml-100ml ($151-$376) at fueguia.com.
