Dolce & Gabbana Secret Garden Spring 2011 Makeup
The Dolce & Gabbana Secret Garden collection went for the soft, springy pastels. Romantic pinks, turquoise blue, silvery greys and lilac all play a role in their new spring 2011 makeup line. If you adore pastels in general, this is made for you. A beautiful example of this is the Eden Smooth Eye Colour Quad. It's just like taking a stroll through an English garden.
The Romance Smooth Eye Colour Duo is one of the best gray and silver eyshadow duos I've seen. They managed to make a rather ho-hum combo into something sexy and lovely. The muted silver and metal grey shades also blend together seamlessly so you don't need too much of an effort to achieve that smoky eye. Love this!
Lip color is also pretty subdued. The Romance Lipstick is a frosty, iridescent light mauve - this is way too light on me but I think it's suitable for gals with a darker complexion. I think the coral pink Love Lipstick is more approachable for light to medium skin tones.
The brand new Eva Illuminator sheer face powder contains micro glints of sparkle, which gives the face a subtle yet vibrant glow. Don't worry, you won't end up looking like a shiny disco ball. The texture is unusually creamy, making the application a luxurious experience in itself. This is really great for enhancing the cheekbones.

So glam looking! Love how everything has the D&G logo pressed into them, too.
The colors look lovely and the textures sound wonderful. Love that the colors actually look spring-y and not summery like some of the other spring collections.
