Armani La Femme Bleue Spring 2011 Makeup
February 4, 2011 Based on Giorgio Armani's S/S 2011 fashion show, his La Femme Bleue 2011 spring makeup collection is inspired by nature's fresh blossoming of colors. Tempered by the ephemeral morning light this colorful smoky eye is de rigueur with radiant hues of forest green and purple iris.
The La Femme Bleue Eye Palette captures these jewel tones with two shimmering silver and soft black eyeshadows. These silky, blendable colors go on sheer but they are easily buildable for a sexy evening look. If you blend the purple and green shadows together you'll get a stunning turquoise blue effect.
To contrast this dramatic look a pale, frosty pink light is scattered upon the skin and lips. The new Face Palette sheer blush is so transparent and natural you can barely tell that you're wearing blush. It just adds a beautiful flash of healthy color across the cheeks. Already a new favorite, this is going to be in my makeup bag for the rest of the season. The Rouge d'Armani lipstick in 518 Dawn Pink completes this signature look.

The lipstick color is so pretty -- girly pink but a natural and adult one at that. You can never go wrong with Armani -- always tres tasteful.
Armani makes some of the best lipsticks around. I love their Rouge d'Armani formula.
