By Kilian Love and Tears, Surrender
Kilian Hennessy, the creator of the By Kilian perfumes, loves to craft voluptuous and wildly romantic fragrances. As the heir to the famous French cognac fortune (the grandson of the founder of LVMH group), he is used to cultivating a luxurious sensibility. Kilian's latest masterpiece, Love and Tears, Surrender, is the ninth fragrance that launched this year.
As part of the L’Oeuvre Noire Collection this composition centers around the soliflore of Indian jasmine, with supporting notes of Italian bergamot, petit grain, cypress, orange blossom, ylang ylang and French ciste. If you like jasmine blossoms, this is as good as it gets. His extremely potent scents also have strong staying power - I did one little spritz and the scent lingered in my home for over 24 hours.
Within the same collection I also really liked Cruel Intentions, Tempt Me, an intoxicating homage to the precious Oud wood. The unisex scent starts of fairly bold but soon tapers down to a dry woody finish. Notes include Bergamot calabria, orange blossom, violet accord, centifolia rose absolute, agarwood, Indian papyrus, gaiacwood oil, Haiti vetiver, sandalwood, styrax absolute, castoreum absolute, vanilla absolute, and musk.
Available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and Lucky Scent.

The names are sooooo dramatic! Almost like you need to be dressed to the hilt to enjoy the full effect. Jeans and T-shirts just would not do! ;)
They are! ;) I feel like I need to be on the set of "Dallas" to wear these, lol.
