YSL Summer 2011 Makeup
July 5, 2011 The colors from the YSL summer 2011 makeup collection are super bold. Electric yellow and royal blue rule the eyes, as shown in the limited edition Ombres Duolumieres N°37 eyeshadow duo.
To keep your peepers totally perfect YSL also launched a new Mascara Singulier Blanche Waterproof, which resists tears and sweat for up to 24 hours. Make this your new party-'til-dawn mascara. The new Dessin Du Regard Waterproof Long-Wear Eye Pencil can resist heat and moisture for up to 16 hours. Its soft and waxy formula will lock onto your lids after a minute but you can use a liner brush if you want a really precise line. I'm in love with the N° 7 Absinthe Green shade (shown below).
As for the lippies, the new summer shades for the lovely Rouge Pur Couture SPF 15 lipstick line are worthy of a gander. I love N° 26 Rose Libertin, a bright pink with a slight dash of mauve, and N° 28 Rose Boheme, a deep and plummy pink.
If you need a new bronzer the Terre Saharienne now has three new darker shades: N° 4 Apricot Sand, N° 5 Cinnamon Sand and N° 6 Bronze Sand. The SPF 12 formula is extremely silky and the finish is so very natural-looking. It also has a touch of shimmer, which isn't too obvious. This goes on lightly but you can definitely build it up for more dramatic color. I prefer the N°3 Golden Sand as my complexion is on the lighter side.

It IS pretty bright huh? The blue is pretty darn stunning too.
