Sunday Brunch & Cherry Blossom Festival at Chaya Brasserie

Craving an elegant breakfast with stunning views of San Francisco's iconic waterfront? Chaya Brasserie is now offering a new Sunday brunch service. Featuring bottomless mimosas ($12) and morning cocktails, the à la carte menu features hearty gourmet dishes that include the Soft Scrambled Parmesan Egg Open Face Sandwich ($16). Topped with Niman Ranch pork belly and drizzled with black truffle sauce, this rich entree will start the day off right.

Seafood lovers will enjoy the generously portioned Dungeness Crab Frittata ($16). Other tempting choices include the Chinese Five Spice Duck Confit Hash ($14) and the Sunday Angus Beef Burger with a fried farm egg ($17).

If that's not enough food, you can always order from the regular sushi menu. Being a sweet tooth, I opted for the Salted Caramel Ice Cream Sandwiches ($10) and the Green Tea Cheesecake ($9).

Starting today through April 27, Chaya is also celebrating the Cherry Blossom Festival with a special bar menu. Executive Chef Yuko Kajino has created specials like the Sakura-Dai Roll with Cherry Blossom Leaves ($16) as well as Crispy Takoyaki with Sakura Mayonnaise ($8). Imbibe in specialty cocktails like the Cherry Blossom ($7) or the Bourbonite ($12) with muddled cherries soaked in Angostura bitters. The happy hour menu is available Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to close.
