September 18, 2008 Here's a real cool line of natural beauty products that I've discovered lately. Pristine Recovery's aim is to offer 100% natural and carcinogen-free products that are safe for stressed skin and hair.
As a breast cancer survivor, founder Blaire Kessler (former Miss Winston Cup) had suffered major hair damage and scarring from her surgeries. She couldn't find much chemical-free products that she'd consider using, so she created her own products. The Brallywood Butta is a healing, non-greasy underarm and decollete massage cream that smells citrusy and fun.
The No More Scary Hairy is a potent hair serum that will revive dried out fragile hair. It's gentle enough to use for patients undergoing treatment, and a small bit goes a long way. I also dug the Take a Whiff! deodorant. It contains organic sage to control the odor and you will end up smelling like a creamsicle.
Love the Old Hollywood glam packaging...also like the ingredient lists displayed right on their site. A portion of proceeds will go towards the Young Survival Coalition and the Cancer Prevention Coalition. Definitely something worth checking out.
