Marie Veronique Organics Anti-Wrinkle Duet
January 10, 2011 Marie Veronique Organics has some of the best natural skin care on the market. The results-oriented brand offers many products that are made with organic, good-for-you ingredients. I got to try out their Anti-Wrinkle Duet recently, and it was an absolutely perfect antidote to my super dry winter skin.
This powerful duo consists of the Anti-Wrinkle Serum and the Pacific Topical Vitamin C Treatment (formerly Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin C Supplement). The decadent serum is loaded with vitamin-rich oils (rosehip seed, marula, blackberry seed and argan) to smooth out the wrinkles. Upon application I could see it gently working out the fine lines. This is one serum where my skin felt truly nourished.
My face looks so much better in the mornings. The serum also contains strong anti-oxidants like beta-glucan, reservatrol and idebenone. You can be assured that this doesn't contain any artificial conditioning agents like PEG, silicones or butylene glycol.
To really amp up the anti-aging factor you need to combine the serum with the Pacific Topical Vitamin C Treatment. Just break open one capsule and mix it into the serum. I found that the grainy texture leaves a powdery residue but it doesn't take away the effectiveness.
The powder form is much more stable than the typical liquid version (no oxidation!) and it also contains SOD (superoxide dismutase), an anti-oxidant derived from melon extract and alpha lipoic acid. Hyperpigmentation and blotchy spots are also reduced if you use this regularly. My face looks brighter after I use it.
