Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful Face Palettes
January 13, 2011 Bobbi Brown never fails to impress me with her lovely makeup palettes. For one thing, the universally flattering colors are never boring and they're just so wearable. They're also very handy for travel -- just throw it in the beauty bag and go. Inspired by her Pretty Powerful beauty campaign, the brand just launched two Pretty Powerful palettes.
Made for fair to medium complexions, the Pretty Face Palette contains all the tools you need for Bobbi's signature natural look. It includes four neutral eye shadows in fresh pink and brown tones so you can create soft, romantic eyes. The new Pretty Pink blush adds a nice warm flush of color, and three lip products (2 shiny lip glosses, 1 lip color) complete the look with a hint of rosy pink.
The Powerful Face Palette is slightly edgier with its color scheme. The eye shadow shades are darker but you can go nude to smoky with four versatile pinks and browns. I really like the dark Plum blush. It's one of the brightest shades I've seen from the brand, and you really don't need a lot to achieve a healthy flush. I also really liked the Powerful Pink lip color. It goes so well with the two sheer pink lip glosses. This palette was created for medium to deep complexions but I think fairer ladies can rock these colors.

The pink and plum shades are soooo pretty. And they look great on just about anyone.
I got the darker set but haven't tried it yet. Can't wait!
Carolyn - I really dig the blush since it's so pigmented. It's not often she comes out with bright bold colors like that.
