Guerlain Abeille Royale Youth Serum
September 24, 2010 If you're in need of a wrinkle fighter, Guerlain just added a new product to their already amazing skin care collection. I'm a honey fiend so I'm pretty smitten with their new Abeille Royale Youth Serum. Designed to help the skin repair its own wrinkles (micro-tears), this serum contains Pure Royal Concentrate, a blend of highly pure Ouessant honey, thyme honey, New Zealand clover honey and French royal jelly. Ouessant honey is produced by the Black Bee, a native to Ouessant Island in Brittany, France.
This has a light honey scent (naturally!) and the light texture absorbs instantly into the skin. It seemed like my skin needed the moisture as it drank it right up. Clinical tests show the skin repairing the micro-tears in just 16 hours, and if you use it long term, the skin's firmness will improve exponentially after three months.
We all know Guerlain's skin care isn't affordable for everyone's budget, but this serum is actually on the lower end of the their price range ($140). However, if you can splurge more and have tons of sun damage you might want to consider the Orchidee Imperiale 4-week Cure Treatment or their other great serums.

Cough, cough, cough. Um, did you say $140?! I guess if I smeared myself with honey from a jar, it just wouldn't be the same, huh? LOL
That will depend on what kind of honey, of course. Manuka honey can be pricey. ;)
