Givenchy Summer 2010 Makeup & Printed Lips Giveaway!
May 4, 2010 Summer is creeping up faster than you can imagine, and Givenchy has some gorgeous makeup for the Summer 2010. Inspired by the waters and landscape of Mauritius, these colors will get you all fired up for bikini season.
I don't usually wear blue eyeshadow, but the new limited-edition Le Prisme Unique Eyeshadow in Island Lagoon made me all excited with this color. Three blue shades (navy, turquoise and aqua) are melded into the mini compact, giving you the freedom to wear a muted lid or a more dramatic look.
To compliment the eyes, the Pop Gloss Crystal Sun Lip Gloss is available in two shades - Island Guava, a shimmery peach, and Island Cocoa, a shimmery plum brown. This gloss features an exclusive Pulp Shine Complex that's designed to give a plumped lip effect. I find that mixing the two colors together gives the best look.
If you don't have time to work on that tan, the Fleur de Frangipanier Unique Compact Powder is the next best thing. This is actually a face powder, but it contains enough pigment to act as a bronzer. Think of it as a two-in-one, so you have one less item to bring to the beach! The Island Tan compact is just perfect for my skin tone, giving me a healthy wash of color. The frangipani flower design is so darn pretty - I almost don't want to use it.
On the fragrance side, Givenchy just launched Very Irresistible Givenchy Summer Vibrations, their new summer scent. Fruity and floral, the frangipani flower is the heart of this fresh and breezy fragrance.

Ooooh, that Island Tan powder is super pretty and I love the blue shadow. So glad they came out with the stains. They're so great for summer.
I would love to try the Fleur de Frangipanier Unique Compact Powder ! I am really fair skinned and I need a little boost of color now that beach season is rolling around. I don't want to look so see-through that I'd be competing with Casper ! Haha! I would also love to try out the lip stain! Rose impression sounds like a lovely color. I've been told that Givenchy has excellent quality products so I'm sure the powder and lip stain would be great!
