Bridal Dreams...
Wedding season is in full swing and I'm on the lookout for my bridal wish list. I'm not a bride-to-be just yet, but while I was doing some window shopping yesterday, I found some great wedding dresses and accessories for my ensemble. If you're getting hitched in the near future, you might also be inspired by these picks.
I love supporting local businesses and I discovered Amy-Jo Tatum, a Marin-based couture designer that makes some really lovely wedding gowns. She's also the only designer in the area that uses eco-friendly fabrics for environmentally conscious brides.
I just love the Mira dress. Made with Chantilly lace and silk chiffon, this dress can be worn two ways (halter or cap-sleeve). It's totally vintage-inspired and it'd made a fun option for a bride that doesn't want a traditional long gown.
I'm also a sucker for fascinators. I'd choose these over other types of veils. You can transform these gorgeous feather flower hairpins into a bridal fascinator by attaching a short French birdcage veil underneath the pins.
As for shoes, I'd go with anything from Vouelle. The Parisian brand is one of my favorites, and you can be sure that you'll have the most fashionable bridal heels for your special day. I especially love the Dana and Anne-Lou pumps.
