Bobbi Brown Smoky, Sultry, Smoldering Collection

Bobbi Brown sure knows how to create a fabulous makeup palette. As part of the holiday launches, the Smoky, Sultry, Smoldering Collection features a trio of eyeshadow palettes that make the smoky eye quite easy to pull off. You don't need to be an expert as the shades are so very blendable. Each one features a flattering base color, an eyeliner, a bold metallic, and a dramatic shade of the new Long-Wear Eye Paint.

I like the Sultry Eye Palette as it offers a golden, chocolate bronze effect that's more unique than the traditional black or grey smoky lid. This one features the Bone Eye Shadow, Antique Gold Metallic Eye Shadow, Caviar Eye Shadow, Brandy Long-Wear Eye Paint. The high-pigment eye paint can be worn wet or dry. If you use a damp brush you'll get long-lasting shimmering color that won’t crease. This palette is so natural looking that you can wear it day or night, and even if you pack on a few layers you won't be overdoing it. In my opinion it's pretty foolproof.

Bobbi isn't really known for bright red lipsticks but I'm really loving her take on the retro red lip colors. Her four new shades were created to be less intimidating and much more wearable for most women. I just adore the Jewel Red Metallic Lip Color - it's really a killer metallic red with gold shimmer. I think most gals can carry off this color. I can see myself wearing this shade all the time for the holiday season.

She also has three regular lipsticks in Hollywood Red (classic bright candy red), Vintage Red (cool medium red), and Vixen Red (deep rich red).
