YSL Spring Look Beauty

With all the heavy rain and gray skies, I really wish I was in Paris. Nothing's more romantic than visiting the City of Light in the springtime. I was fortunate enough to go there last year, so I can't really complain too much.

To bring back the beautiful memories of my trip, I've been playing with a couple of products from YSL's Spring Look makeup collection. Defining the epitome of Rive Gauche chic, soft feminine shades are emphasized in the new seasonal palette.

The neutral shades in the Ombres Duolumieres in # 27 Golden Pink/Precious Bronze gave a gentle, polished look to the eyes without being too strong. Paired with the sheer Gloss Volupte in # 6 Vanilla Pink, it's a basic look that's elegant and not over the top. I have to admit, the mango scent in the Gloss Volupte smells so luscious that I almost want to eat it.

I also got to try the famous Touche Eclat. I can now see what the fuss is about. My friend Kristen at Belle La La is always raving about this product. This award-winning highlighter adds luminosity to fatigued skin. If you've been partying til 3am over the weekends, this one's for you. You can use it alone, or over/under foundation.
