Trufflove Chocolates

I always welcome new gourmet chocolate brands. Trufflove, a San Francisco-based truffle company, is specializing in seemingly familiar yet unusual flavors. Handmade with fresh ingredients, each one is made with love.

Twelve flavors are offered in their build-your-own tasting collection. I love the smoky Cashew, Pineapple and Chili truffle. The punchy salty-sweet combo makes me wanna eat another one immediately. The most intriguing truffle is the Pear and Goat Cheese. Enrobed in dark chocolate, the white chocolate goat cheese ganache contains a sliver of Hangar One Vodka-infused pear.

I don't like strong coffee flavors but the Cappuccino with milk chocolate is very mellow on the palate. The Fig and Grand Marnier would be perfect for Fig Newton lovers. The Cherry, Coconut and Kirschwasser is a decadent, boozy indulgence.
