NARS Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil

Inspired by their popular Velvet Matte Lip Pencil, NARS tweaked the beloved lip product and created the new and fabulous Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil. The high-moisture, glossy formula is just fantastic. Lightweight and non-sticky, there are six beautiful shades to fawn over.

I absolutely love Baroque, a bold raspberry sorbet shade. The flirty shade is dark enough to wear on its own, but you might wanna use a lip pencil underneath to make it last longer. The New Lover is a pale, strawberry pink tinged with gold. That one was a bit too light for my tastes, so I'd wear it over lipstick. You also need to be careful about sharpening these babies since the soft gloss texture is so delicate. Otherwise, it really is the perfect love child between a lipstick and a lip gloss.

Oh, so if you sharpen too aggressively, you'll have shaved away half the pencil before ya know it, huh? That would be a true shame since these colors look so beautiful.

Yup, you gotta be careful or you'll end up breaking the tip or sharpening too much off.
