NARS Summer 2013 Makeup

Edgy and bold, the NARS summer 2013 makeup collection features bright flashes of sexy glam rock. You can expect attention-grabbing colors but there are a few gems that can be easily worn on a daily basis. 

For those who dare to stand out, the dandelion and African violet shades from the Fashion Rebel Duo Eyeshadow will definitely turn heads. 

The Euphrate Single Eyeshadow is a shimmery silver gray with an ever-so-slight mint undertone. I was hoping to see a stronger mint presence but this definitely brightens up the eyes. I can see this pairing real well with the Barrow Street Larger Than Life Eyeliner (seafoam green). For a polished day-to-night look, I prefer to use it with the pretty Tolède Satin Lipstick. 

The Puerto Vallarta Multiple, a shimmering tangerine, is actually pretty sheer. I love the natural warmth it brings to the face without being overly vibrant, and you can add a few more swipes if you want a bit more color to show through. If you want a touch of subtlety, this is a superb choice for summer. In fact, the Euphrate eyeshadow looks lovely with this. 

A flattering shade for many skin tones, the Tolède Satin Lipstick is a beautiful rosy pink. The warm tone makes it extremely easy to wear for any occasion and I know this will earn a spot in many makeup bags for spring and summer.

Whoa, that yellow is fierce. I wonder if a mere mortal can pull it off? Or only a supermodel? LOL

It sure is! You can probably do a very light wash as an accent. :)
