Luce's Dominique Crenn Offers Iron Chef Menu
August 9, 2010 If you missed last night's Iron Chef America battle with Michael Symon, you'll be pleased to know that Luce's Dominique Crenn won. Final score was 53 vs. 44. Gooooo SF female chefs!

Yogurt was the secret ingredient and her winning dishes included Fried Yogurt with Summer Vegetable Melody and the gorgeous Savory Yogurt with Pate de Fruit. The presentation of her Yogurt Crepe with Squab and Eggplant was also drool-worthy.

I helped judge a cookie contest with Michael Symon a few years back, and I just adore him. Even so, it is so nice to see a woman triumph on the show. Dominique was great. And her dishes looked so imaginative and contemporary.
