Larkspur & Hawk Jewelry
I was in love with Larkspur & Hawk's handcrafted, antique-inspired fine jewelry a few years ago and my admiration for Emily Satloff's designs remains as strong as ever. I've spied some new pieces recently and while I can't afford them, a girl can always look, right?
Everything is gloriously exquisite - I'm swooning over this Carmen Grand Tour Necklace. The 22k washed silver necklace shows off a chain of white topaz flower pendants. To achieve that beautiful shade, each stone is set on sky colored foil.
For something slightly low-key the Lily rose gold-dipped topaz drop earrings ($1,900) might catch your fancy. These are backed with a copper foil to set off the faceted stones.
The Carmen Pendant and Chain has a delicate filigree that surrounds a large round amethyst. Indigo colored foil backing creates the unusual sapphire hue.
For a dramatic statement piece, the Annabelle Riviere oxidized sterling silver topaz necklace ($8,000) will really turn heads. Each of the clear topaz stones are backed with green and blue foils.
For something a bit more modern the Colette 3-Drop Earrings will do the trick. These diamond shaped topaz stones are set in rose foil to create an amethyst-colored effect.
