Guerlain Muguet Fragrance
Talk about life's fleeting luxuries -- the legendary house of Guerlain is selling their 2011 edition of the coveted Muguet fragrance for one day only. In case you're not aware of its significance, the French celebrate La Fête du Muguet, the first day of May, by giving loved ones a bouquet of muguet (lily of the valley) flowers for good luck. It's the best month of the year in my opinion. Maybe it's because May is my birth month, so I am sorta biased in that way.
The seasonal floral scent is packaged in a stunning collector's bottle. The embroidered muguet label is a glorious reminder that spring has finally sprung. This exclusive perfume ($580 for 100ml) is only available at Guerlain boutiques on May 1, so if you have the big bucks, be sure to reserve a bottle for youself. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until next year to get the new bottle design.
Available at all Guerlain boutiques in San Francisco (Neiman Marcus), New York City (Saks, Bergdorf), Las Vegas (The Bellagio), Orlando (Epcot Center) and Palm Beach.
