Givenchy Play for Her Fragrance

If you've been waiting for the girly version of Givenchy's Play fragrance, the two versions of Play for Her EDP are now on sale. Made for the woman who is "naturally seductive and ready for life's surprises," this new women's fragrance is dominated by the tropical Tiare flower and Amyris wood. Warm, green notes dance throughout this predominantly floral composition.

Noot Sear & Justin Timberlake for Givenchy Play for Her.

With top notes of Bergamot, Pink Peppercorn, White Peach and Sweet Pea, the scent is not overly sweet (thank goodness).  Originating from the Caribbean, the velvety Amyris wood is called ‘candle wood’ as its essential oil can burn for hours. Sandalwood and Musk also add a sensual warmth, which I like a lot.

For a more complex experience, the Play for Her Intense is great for those who don't want a fruity overture. This composition contains Orange Blossom, Orchid, Patchouli, Tonka Bean and Benzoin to amp up the sexy factor. The sleek packaging is also pretty sweet - it reminds me of a slim, shiny iPod case.

Play for Her and Play for Her Intense is now on sale at givenchybeauty.com.

For editorial consideration, a product lab sample was provided for this review.

I like it better than the packaging for the male fragrance, but I prefer that scent overall.

"naturally seductive and ready for life's surprises" ... hey, that's me! LOL. The regular version sounds great and love the unique pink bottle!

Sonja - LOL. Isn't the bottle cute?? In order of preference, I like the men's Play fragrance, then the intense for her, then the regular for her.
