Givenchy Acid Rain Summer 2011 Makeup
Bold colors are de rigueur for this summer, and the Givenchy Acid Rain summer makeup collection reflects this trend. Just take a look at the new Le Prismissime Yeux 9-color Acid Lights eyeshadow palette and you'll know what I mean. I'm not sure if I can get away with some of the shades but it IS a fun option for a hot date or a fun summer party.
Another highlight of the collection is the new Gelée D'Interdit Smoothing Gloss Balm Crystal Shine. This sheer coverage lip gloss acts like a conditioning lip balm. The wax-free formula contains hyaluronic micro-spheres that slip into the lips' fine lines to smooth and plump up your gorgeous pout. Apiace Extract is also added to provide long-term cell renewing and smoothing properties.
The three special shades for summer 2011 (above, left to right) are Neon Orange, Electric Purple, and Explosive Raspberry. While their names suggest a bright neon color, these lovely shades are actually very sheer with a touch of shimmer. You can view the entire 12-color collection in the image below. I also like Tempting Rouge, a classic cherry red.
If you want a healthy-looking complexion, the new Mister Radiant Made-To-Measure Glow will add an even, luminous veil of color. It's a transparent face gel that contains three colored microspheres (pearlescent, brown, yellow). The fresh, watery texture is non-greasy and you can always build 2-3 layers for deeper color. Just apply it on clean skin, then smooth out the color microspheres to release the color. Wait for it to dry on the face before adding another layer. It's way less time consuming than using other tanning creams.
Available at all Sephora stores and Sephora.com.

Wow, that looks like a veritable Crayola of eye shadows. Will you be wearing some of these colors on Saturday? LOL
Nope. I'm going for the tamer, more classic look. ;)
