Easy Floral Nail Art

Spring is officially here and I've been experimenting with brighter nail colors. I was inspired by the simple floral nail art design from Happie Belle, so I went to Target to buy some CoverGirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss ($4.75) to replicate the look.

I painted two coats of Mint Mojito 285 as a base color. The glossy formula is supposed to last for up to a week without a top coat and it dried pretty quickly.

After drying the nail polish completely, I used a toothpick to carefully design a flower on top. I dabbed five tiny circles, then dragged each petal towards the center. The pale Lav-Endure 145 shade provided a fun contrast, giving it a tropical feel. What colors and designs would you use for your floral nail art?

It’s Time for Springtime.

Perfect for Easter! Since I usually only get pedicures, I have yet to experiment with any of those bright blue hues. What do you think? Appropriate for the toes? Or too much? ;)

Actually, these shades would be perfect for toes. You can't get too flashy with feet. :)
