Dolce & Gabbana Perfect Finish Creamy Foundation & Passion Duo Lipstick

I was pretty darn excited when I learned about the new Dolce & Gabbana Perfect Finish Creamy Foundation. Silky and luxurious, the medium-to-full coverage formula is so concentrated that you only need a dime-sized dollop to cover the entire face. The one-ounce jar will also last you for a long time if you don't use it every day.

I got to try both the Creamy 80 and Bronze 144 shades - both are very lightweight and extremely natural looking. The Creamy 80 is slightly too light on me, so I imagine if I mix in a tiny bit of Bronze 144 it will work out perfectly. The Creamy shade also had a subtle pink glow so my face was instantly luminous. If you have dry skin be sure to moisturize beforehand, as the matte finish will pick up any flaky parts.

The other recent launch is the amazing Passion Duo Gloss Fusion Lipstick. This luscious product literally fused a column of lipgloss within a creamy lipstick - literally the best of both worlds. High on pigment and full of moisturizing shine, this fabulously creamy lipstick isn't heavy at all. It does, however, wear off a bit so you'll need a touch up before the work day is over.

The Passion Duo also has the same lovely rose scent as their regular cream lipsticks. I got to try the Intense 120 (deep burgundy), Dazzle 240 (sheer bronze gold), Sensation 20 (golden, salmon pink) and Infatuation 190 (classic brick red). I can see the goth gals loving the Intense 120 and the Dazzle 240 is great for holiday layering. The Infatuation will be the star shade for fall and winter.

I am also in love with the Secret Eyes Lengthening Mascara. The fine bristles on the wand do a fantastic job of getting most of the lashes coated with product. The texture is so smooth there is literally no clumping nor smearing, even after 2-3 coats. The result is very natural and fresh, without any of that nasty spider leg look. It also washed off easily in the shower with a tiny dab of facial cleanser. The deluxe gold tube also feels so luxurious. Love love love.

Gawd, that foundation looks as light and fluffy as whipped cream. It must feel lovely on the skin for sure then.

It's matte but not drying. It's also really pigmented so a little dab goes a long way. :)
