Dior's Diorblush Cheek Creme
As part of their Summer Mix 2013 makeup collection, Dior released four awesome shades of the new Diorblush Cheek Creme. If you're a blush lover, this is definitely something to try at the counter. You get a glowy pop of color yet it still looks natural on your cheeks. It's like being airbrushed in a good way.
I tried Capri 851, a bright and satiny bubblegum pink, and Pareo 971, a neon fuchsia. The formula is less cream and more like a cream-to-powder texture, which blended easily into the skin. I initially thought Capri was way too light for my summer complexion (using two layers), but it soon adjusted to my skin tone and wore beautifully. I'd totally use this for daily wear as it brightened up my face instantly.
Pareo is far more pigmented so I'd start with one light layer. Despite the higher pigmentation it still looked very fresh, and you can bump up the contouring by adding more product for night time looks. Both shades had great staying power, but I haven't tested them in humid conditions. In any case, they added a lot of sunshine to a chilly and rainy Seattle afternoon.
