DeVita Solar Protective Moisturizer SPF 30+

Last summer, I was perusing the beauty section of my local organic grocery store and one of their employees recommended a natural sunscreen lotion for my sensitive skin. She was raving about the DeVita Solar Protective Moisturizer SPF 30+ and promised me that I would love it.

Sure enough, I do. Of all the natural and organic SPF products I've tried, this one soaks right in and doesn't have a heavy, sticky feeling. I actually look forward to using this product - the sheer finish means I don't have to have a pale layer of sunscreen sit on my face upon application. Made with 19% zinc oxide, the broad spectrum coverage means you're totally protected. It's also free of nano technology, parabens and titanium dioxide. Light enough to wear under makeup, the 100% vegan formula is made for folks with sensitive skin.

I also recommend the Solar Body Block SPF 30+ broad spectrum body lotion. It has the same non-sticky texture that absorbs right in. If they only had a smaller size for me to carry around, it'd be perfect as a hand cream!

I know what you mean -- I'm always looking for sunscreens that are weight-less yet still do the job. Not easy to find. Thanks for the tip about this brand.

You do have to reapply every 2 hours, but it does the trick. I don't end up with a thick layer of minerals or chemicals and no white face!
