Clarins Splendours Summer 2013 Makeup

The Clarins Splendours Summer 2013 Colour Collection is all about bronzed cheeks, neutral eyes and bright shiny lips. 

I'm all about their lip products this season. The Instant Smooth Crystal Lip Balm is a hybrid lip color that's paired with a lip balm. The pigment core contains super rich color while the outer core repairs and moisturizes. It's available in four shades, and I just love 07 Crystal Gold Plum (golden rosy brown) and 08 Crystal Berry (dark berry). If you like bright pink, the 05 Crystal Rose is the perfect electric pink for summer. 

For a sexy wet lip, the Instant Smooth Crystal Lip Gel offers juicy transparent color while plumping up the lips. I tried Crystal Plum, a sheer grape shade with a delicious blackcurrant scent. You can wear it alone or over your favorite lipstick, but I prefer it by itself. Throw it into your beach bag and you're all set. 

For the eyes, the Splendours Colour Quartet & Liner Eye Palette contains sheer neutral shades (copper gold, pale gold, pink gold and brown) to create a natural look. It also has an intense plum eye liner if you want to add more drama. 

For the face, don't forget to contour with the Splendours Summer Bronzing Compact if you desire a healthy, sun-kissed effect.
