Clarins SPF 50+ Sunscreens
Finally, after some ho-hum days, we're seeing some gorgeous sunny weather! To celebrate the recent spike in warm temperature, I wanted to highlight a few new SPF products from Clarins.
There are two high-performance products that you might want to check out. The Sunscreen For Face: Wrinkle Control Cream SPF 50+ has a very lightweight, non-greasy texture that I like very much. I've abused my skin from recent travels, so this is very handy. The other product, the water-resistant Sunscreen Care Milk-Lotion Spray SPF 50+, is created for the body and is great for sensitive skin.
Both of these items contain a multi-filter complex that blocks both UVA and UVB rays, and their Phyto-Sunactyl 2 Complex contains five plant extracts (senna, pea, plane tree, olive and baobab) to fight premature ageing.
The third product, the UV Plus HP SPF 40 Day Screen, is a mineral-based sunscreen. Along with UVA/UVB protection, this formula has cantaloupe extract, which has an antioxidative enzyme that neutralizes the harmful effects of free radicals. I really like the watery texture, which soaks instantly into the skin. This is great for oily skin, and it provides a nice base under your makeup.
I can't stress this enough - even though many folks still associate using sunscreen with sunny weather, it's very important to use it year-round. If you wanna look as young as possible, this is crucial for all outdoor and indoor activities.

How interesting about the watery texture of the last sunscreen. You never see that. Usually, they're all so goopy and thick, and feel so heavy when slathered on.
That one is meant as a daily makeup base. It's not ideal for the beach. ;)
