Clarins Rouge Eclat Spring 2013 Makeup
Clarins is back with a new Rouge Eclat spring 2013 makeup collection. The star product, the new Rouge Eclat Satin Finish Age-Defying Lipstick, is pretty darn amazing.
Inspired by the satin texture of the iris flower, it features their exclusive Nutri-Youth Complex to banish fine lines. Packed with mimosa, sunflower, jojoba, mango seed, and shea butter, the creamy and nourishing formula is really pigmented so you don't need more than a few swipes to get the right coverage. And, it lasts for several hours without any touch up. With 15 shades in the collection, you'll find something to love. I recommend 13 Woodrose, a flattering brownish pink and 05 Pink Berry, a bright raspberry.
For the eyes, the Iris Blossom Eye Quartet Mineral Palette contains a shimmery iris eyeshadow, along with a complementary taupe shade. A silvery black liner and shimmering white illuminator completes the quartet. I think it's best to use it with a wet brush for an intense effect, otherwise it will be much more subdued, which is great for a day look.
Embossed with an iris pattern, the Palette Eclat Face and Blush Powder compact gives the face a matte, radiant glow. You can use the pink and coral stripes individually as a blush.
For the gloss lovers, two new shades are available from the fabulous Gloss Prodige collection: 09 Waterlily and 10 Vibrant Rose. Vibrant Rose is limited edition, but the soft pink Waterlily should be permanent.
