Clarins Fall 2012 Makeup Collection

The Ombre Minérale Fall 2012 makeup collection from Clarins has a major emphasis on the eyes. The star product is the new Ombre Minérale Eyeshadow. Available in 16 long wearing shades, there's something to please everyone. You also get a few textures to choose from the entire range (matte, satin and sparkle).

These mono compacts are light and easy to carry in small clutches - you can mix and match to your heart's content. I personally love the 14 Platinum and 11 Silver Green shades. The Platinum is highly pigmented so you don't need a lot to get an easy smoky eye and it has a subtle sparkle. The Silver Green gives off glints of gold, which was a nice surprise.

Here are the shades in 14 Platinum, 12 Aubergine and 11 Silver Green:

I adore their Rouge Prodige True Colour & Shine Lipstick. I can't say enough good things about it. The collection offers beautiful, wearable shades, the formula is very moisturizing and they smell lovely. Four new shades are presented in the fall lineup: 132 Spiced Orange, 133 Fig, 134 Orchid Pink and 135 Dark Cherry.

Orchid Pink and Spiced Orange.

I love Spiced Orange! I don't usually wear much orange tones but this one is subtle on me and creates a rich warm fall look that I love. The Dark Cherry is a gorgeous, deep cabernet shade for fall.

Dark Cherry and Fig.

If you love purple mascaras like I do, then consider the Instant Definition Mascara in Intense Plum. This is the only shade for fall. I like how the tip is smaller so you can reach the tiny lashes on the edge without smearing the rest of the wand on the lid. Genius.

Clarins also has a unique and new liquid liner. The 3 Dot Liner has a tri-tip design that produces three tiny dots, so you don't have to drag it along the lash line. You get a closer, tight line and the pigment stays on. Even thought it's not waterproof, it was hard to rub off.

Available at Macys.com and www.clarinsusa.com.

Purple mascara? Oooh, reminds me of experimenting back in the day in high school. LOL Of course, at that age I didn't have the bank to buy primo Clarins. ;)
