Bobbi Brown Beauty Rules Palette

I wish I had the Bobbi Brown Beauty Rules Palette when I was in high school. Adolescence was such an awkward time, and dealing with all things related to beauty overwhelmed me. I was certainly interested in makeup but didn't know which brands to buy or how to wear it properly. Honestly, when you have youth on your side, you really don't need tons of makeup anyway. Why cover up that fresh and dewy skin?

To celebrate her new book for teens, Beauty Rules, Bobbi created this extremely wearable palette. Isn't the cover totally fun and girly? The slim packaging is perfect for tucking it into a backpack or laptop case. The magnetic clasp opens up to a pretty array of eye, lip and cheek colors. These light shades are very age appropriate, and other young-at-heart ladies can also use it too.

The palette contains three matte and sparkling eye shadows, two sheer lip glosses, one golden lip balm, and two pot rouge shades. You also get a black powder eye liner and a Jet Creamy Eye Pencil. The big mirror is also an added bonus so you don't have to fumble around for one as you're using it at school. Who knows, some folks might even think you're actually studying your class notes!

This is such a great palette for young women. Would be nice if more beauty companies would come out with nice, age-appropriate palettes like these.

I agree. It would be super if other companies started to target the teen market too. Young girls don't need to slap on tons of bright layers!
