Bobbi Brown 2010 Holiday Makeup Palettes
Bobbi Brown has some of the best holiday palettes ever. I loved last year's collection and the brand outdid itself this year with an extensive array of festive options. There must be over ten kinds of gift sets and it's quite difficult to pick just one item for yourself.
The Sparkle Glamour Quad has got to be the prettiest eye shadow compact for this season. It contains a highlighter shade (Pink Glitter Sparkle) and three smoky eye shadows (Smoky Sparkle, Moonlight Sparkle, and Sandy Sparkle). Infused with super fine glitter they're also appropriate for all ages, especially for women over 30. You won't be shimmering like a disco ball at all. In fact, you'll look like an elegant party goddess.
If you apply just a couple of light-handed layers you can get away with this at work. This is especially ideal for date nights as you flutter your sparkly eyes at your dinner companion. A total winner in my book.
Wanna go all out? The Modern Classic Lip & Eye Palette has ten wearable eyes shadows and four glitter lip glosses for all your makeup needs. It even comes with two deluxe mini makeup brushes and a large fold-out mirror. The extremely versatile shadows come in complementary shades of bronzy golds, metallic greys and plums. My favorite shades were Antique Pink, Chateau Grey, Heather Rose and Gold Thread. If you want a bolder lip this palette might not work as these glosses are very sheer - they give a hint of barely-there color.
Neiman Marcus also has an exclusive Eye Couture Collection for die-hard Bobbi Brown fans. This one comes with twelve jewel-toned eye shadows, four travel makeup brushes and a black carrying case. If you know a jet-setting beauty diva in your life, you can splurge on this luxe gift for her.

Wow that sparkly palette at the top is so great. I love all 4 colors - so rare in a eye shadow set.
It's a gorgeous quad, Nat! You should check it out at the counter. ;)
The top compact looks like some elegant Zen garden. Love the way these are packaged. So beautiful!
Carolyn - Now that you mention it, it does huh? You can't go wrong with one of these palettes.
