Sonoma Syrup Co. - All-Purpose Culinary Secret Weapon

Every cook and baker should have a stash of these flavored syrups in their pantry. Made in small batches, the Sonoma Syrup Co. produces a complete line of infused syrups for almost every culinary need. From cocktails to marinades, they add a nice oomph to your martinis, pancakes, salads and desserts. Try the Pomegranate Maple for your french toast, or the Meyer Lemon as a glaze for your chicken entree. I like to pair the Lavender syrup with my panna cotta recipe.

Check out the following recipe from their website - there are tons of great ideas on how to use these neat syrups...

Black Currant Vinaigrette

1 tablespoon Sonoma Syrup Black Currant Syrup
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 cup extr-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Place the mustard and vinegar in a medium bowl; Slowly whisk in the oil until combined. Season with salt and pepper.

See you in the kitchen,
Tami
